Terms and Conditions

Last updated: May 2026

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Pairsy platform — the website at pairsy.app and any related services we provide. Please read them carefully. By creating an account or using Pairsy you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Who we are

Pairsy is operated by Market Catalyst Enterprises, a sole proprietorship registered with the Federal Board of Revenue of Pakistan (FBR Registration No. 3520145796137). In these Terms “Pairsy”, “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to Market Catalyst Enterprises in its capacity as the operator of the platform.

What Pairsy is

Pairsy is a marketplace for events. It provides tools for organizers to list events and for attendees to discover and book them. Pairsy is not the organizer of any listed event. Every event is created and run by an independent third-party organizer. Pairsy is therefore not responsible for the quality, accuracy, safety, legality, or conduct of any event or organizer; it is responsible for operating the platform itself in good faith.

Your account

You must be at least 18 years old to create a Pairsy account. You agree to provide accurate information when you sign up and to keep it up to date. You are responsible for activity that takes place under your account, so keep your login credentials confidential. If you suspect unauthorized access, contact us immediately.

Organizer terms

If you list events on Pairsy, the following applies to you in addition to the general terms.

Your representations

By listing an event you represent and warrant that: (a) the event is real and will be held as described; (b) you have all permits, licences, and permissions needed to hold the event; (c) the event content is lawful under Pakistani law; and (d) the event does not promote discrimination, fraud, hate, or any unlawful activity.

Content licence

You grant Pairsy a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display your event content — including the event name, description, photos, and venue details — on the Pairsy platform and in promotional material relating to the event. You retain ownership of your content.

Payments and payouts

When attendees pay for tickets, Pairsy collects the payment through SafePay and holds the proceeds on your behalf. After the event has taken place, we disburse the proceeds to your nominated bank account, minus a 10% platform fee and a 5% payment-processor fee. Payouts are processed within 14 business days of the event end date, subject to no active disputes, chargebacks, or refund requests on that event.

Organizer cancellations

You may cancel an event at any time — there is no specific late-cancellation deadline. When you cancel, confirmed attendees are refunded the ticket price net of the 10% platform fee and the 5% payment-processor fee that Pairsy retains to cover the cost of processing the original payment and the refund. Pairsy does not charge a separate cancellation penalty in addition to those fees.

Removal and account actions

Pairsy may remove an event listing or suspend an organizer account if the listing or organizer violates these Terms, generates disproportionate complaints or chargebacks, or is the subject of a credible safety concern. Where possible we will give notice before taking action.

Attendee terms

If you book events on Pairsy, the following applies to you in addition to the general terms.

When you book a ticket you enter into a transaction with the organizer of that event, with Pairsy facilitating the booking and payment. It is your responsibility to review the event details — date, time, location, age restrictions, requirements — before you book.

Tickets are personal and non-transferable unless the organizer explicitly allows transfers for that event. If the organizer cancels the event you will receive a full refund. If you cannot attend, your refund entitlement is set out in our Refund Policy.

Payments

SafePay setup is still in progress.Once it's live, payments and payouts will be processed by SafePay as described in this section.

Payments on Pairsy are processed by SafePay in line with applicable State Bank of Pakistan regulations. Pairsy does not store full card numbers. Currency, fees, and any taxes shown at checkout reflect the price you will be charged.

Refunds and cancellations

Refund eligibility, request windows, and processing timelines are set out in detail in our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

Prohibited conduct

You agree not to use Pairsy to:

  • Create fake accounts or impersonate another person.
  • List, promote, or attend events that are unlawful, fraudulent, or designed to deceive other users.
  • Harass, threaten, discriminate against, or invade the privacy of other users.
  • Initiate chargebacks on validly delivered tickets to events you attended or for which the organizer met its obligations.
  • Scrape, copy, or systematically extract content from the platform without our written permission.
  • Attempt to interfere with the security of the platform, including unauthorized access to other accounts.

Conduct that involves unauthorized access to or misuse of electronic data may also be an offence under the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act, 2016 (PECA) and we may report it to the relevant authorities.

Intellectual property

The Pairsy name, logo, website design, code, and platform features are owned by Market Catalyst Enterprises. Event-specific content — event names, descriptions, photos — is owned by the respective organizer. Nothing in these Terms transfers any of those ownership rights to you, except for the limited rights to use the platform as intended.

No warranties

Pairsy is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do our best to keep the service running smoothly, but we make no warranties about uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or that any specific event will meet your expectations.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pairsy's total liability to any user arising out of or in connection with the platform is limited to the amount the user paid through Pairsy in the 30 days preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or PKR 5,000, whichever is lower. Pairsy is not liable for event cancellations, organizer conduct, third-party content, injuries sustained at an event, or any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss.

Nothing in these Terms limits any right you have under the Punjab Consumer Protection Act, 2005 (or the equivalent law of your province) which cannot lawfully be limited.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Market Catalyst Enterprises, its owner, and its personnel harmless from any claim, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, your event content, your conduct on the platform, or your violation of any law.

Account termination

You can delete your account at any time from your Profile page. We may suspend or terminate an account if the user violates these Terms, places the platform or other users at risk, or where we are required to do so by law. We will, where appropriate, settle any outstanding payouts owed to a terminated organizer subject to our refund and chargeback obligations.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of the page. For material changes we will notify you by email or through an in-product notice before the change takes effect. Continued use of Pairsy after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the platform will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of competent jurisdiction in Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan.
